There are a ton of horses that you can breed in Farmville. Most horses are limited editions and can only be obtained for FV in the market or via mystery games. However, there are some horses that are available all year in the market, and the limited edition farmville horses occasionally make a reappearance in the market from time to time.
Types of Horses:
There are basically 5 kinds of horses in Farmville.
1. Stallions - These are the male horses that are required for breeding, all other horses are considered female. There are both permanent and wandering stallions in Farmville. If you do NOT have a permanent stallion, the only way you will be able to breed horses is with the wandering stallion which can be adopted off the facebook news feed when someone shares it. These are the different stallions: Black Mini Stallion, Black Stallion, Clydesdale Stallion, Pink Stallion, Snow Stallion, White Mini Stallion, White Stallion,
2. Horses - Appaloosa, Asian Wild, Autumn, Black Gypsy, Black Cherry, Black Horse, Black Shire, Brown, Brown Gypsy, Buckskin, Camargue, Carnival, Cleveland Bay, Falabella, Fjord, Forest, Green, Grey, Gypsy, Haflinger, Harvest, Icelandic, Irish Cob, King, Knight, Mongolian, Morgan, Mustang, New Year, Paint, Palouse, Pink Gypsy, Pinto, Red, Red Pinto, Royal, Saddle, Shire, Suffolk, Thoroughbred, White, White Shire, White Thoroughbred, Yakut Pony
3. Mini Horses - Cream Mini, Mini Appaloosa, Mini Candycane, Miniature, Nightmare, Pinto Mini, Valentine Mini

How to breed horses multiple times in Farmville:
All the items you will need to breed the horses are a stable, a stallion and a horse. Once you place a horse in the stable, it will automatically cause the stable to get ready to a certain amount. Horses normally take 3 days to get ready outside of the stable, however once they reach 34%(really 33.34%), they will make the stable 100% ready for harvesting if you place them in it. A horse that is only 15% ready outside of the stable will ready the stable to about 50%. If you do not ready your stable this way, you can only harvest your stable once per day but if you have multiple horses on your farm that are over 33.34%, you can harvest your stable multiple times. This is an undocumented feature ;)
What Outcomes To Expect:
The outcome is determined by a few factors.
1. If you have NO stallions at all, you will only ever get Arborists, 100 Free XP or Farmhands.
2. The more stallions and horses you have in the stable, the more likely you are to get a foal.
3. The more of any type of horse in the stable will increase the chances of a foal of that kind.
The parents you have in the stable will determine the type of foal you will get. For simplicity, lets say you only have a brown horse and wandering stallion, you can expect to get 1 of the following: Brown Foal, Money, Arborists, 100 Free XP or Farmhands.
Now if you have a permanent stallion and a brown horse, this is what you could get:
Permanent stallion foal, Brown Foal, Money, Arborists, 100 Free XP or Farmhands
The benefits of a permanent stallion are numerous so if you want to breed it is highly recommended you buy one as soon as they show up in the market. The more stallions you have the more prolific your stable can be.
